Don't know whether this type of thread has been posted before or not, so I apologize if it has. While it is too early to know for sure whether or not these drivers will have success at the top level, it's never too early to start speculating.

These are my top 50 Cup prospects (my definition of prospect is a Cup driver with at the most 1 accrued year of experience and any lower series driver with 3 or less accrued years of experience):

I'm interested to hear your opinions on my list, as well as your opinions in general about NASCAR's top up-and-coming drivers. I have no doubt that this list is going to be controversial, considering the amount of big names that I have lower on the list than most would. Let the debate begin...
 
It's sad that so many talented drivers won't get a ride , just due to numbers . 43 rides and they are all filled . It's going to take big names like Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart retireing just to open up a couple of spots . Even then , drivers from other series like open wheel ,Nationwide and trucks will get a shot first . Tough sport. :(
