The talking head on radio said Dale Jr had a solid top Twennie last night.Life is good.

Top 20? Hell, that's Mid Pack fellas! Not the kind of run he needs to move up in the Chase Standings. I would celebrate a Top 10 finish, but a Top 20? MEH!

Hey man, he needs to celebrate his return to mediocrity. That top five stuff was getting to him. :D

Still doesn't beat this thing I remember watching once on Jeff Gordon's career and I swear it talked about the high number of top 30's in his rookie year.

Make all the fun you want there Jr. non fans but he was the top finisher for the Hendrick organization the other night. :growl:

Seriously though, I'm not sure that any Earnhardt fans are celebrating mediocrity. At least this one isn't.

Keep in mind, I'm from the Pittsburgh PA market. I've been rooting for the sub 500 Pittsburgh Pirates with 19 consecutive losing seasons to date, the longest in North American professional sports. I can stick out this Earnhardt Jr. drought. It pales in comparison. It'll just make it all that more special when he does win a race.

Go Jr.!

You can carry on with your trashing now. ;)

True, once you're a fan of a team, driver, whatever, you are a fan, good or bad. Just because you aren't seeing your favorite win doesn't mean you shouldn't hope for the best.

But it doesn't mean we can't make fun of you either:D

Have at it. I don't have any problem rooting for the drivers that I do.

Jr. was 19th.

Would'nt Tony Stewart 8th and Ryan Newman 10th be the highest finishing cars from the Hendricks organization???

In Hendrick purchased equipment, yes. The organization, no.

Thats exactly what I was saying " highest finishing cars from the Hendricks organization"

:D I,m picking on a few individuals who commented that Newman/Haas's success was directly related to the purchasing of cars from Hendricks.

I'm still trying to figure out how Kez got Blaney to the front. Dave didn't know how to drag the brake and kept driving away from Kez. I think most veterans avoid him because he knows how to make a winning move at the end, and he wont be blocked.
