So, this is the timeline.

March: Power steering pump replaced.
March: Alternator replaced. Belts replaced.
2 days later: Brand new alternator replaced. Belts replaced.
April: Brand new belts replaced.
Last week: Power steering pump replaced. Brand new belts replaced.
Today: Brand new belts broke, power steering pump broke.

I don't know what the problem is, but this is my experience with Toyota in a nutshell.
