Do you suppose that with all the negative publicity, Toyota will get rid of that stupid tag line "Moving Forward?" :D

Apparently, that tag line fits now better than ever. They should change it to "Can't Stop Moving Forward".

Toyota: A car that keeps moving, even when you don't.

You know that was why I switched to toyotas, i never had trouble keeping them going it was the Ford and Chevys that I was having trouble getting going. Got 2 Toyotas with over 150,000 miles and still going. never had any problems out of either.

So, how are you typing and driving? Also, where has your Toyota's taken you now?

;)

Lets see, 82 Mercury Capri, bought it new, still runs great, 89 F-150, drove it for 12 years traded it on a 02 Dodge, both great trucks, 99 mercury Mountaneer,142,000 miles and 11 years. Can't complain about my Fords and the Lone Dodge. Nothing but routine maintenence. Amazing the differences.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi- 205,000 and counting.

Between my wife and I we have had Ford, Chevy(me currently), Mazda, Honda, Toyota (my wife currently) and Nissan and the only one that ever had problems with not of our doing were the Fords and they were both transmission problems but I have read they have taken care of that problem. I did blow up my RX7s engine. Its all in how well they are taken care of.

Anyone have problems with their Dodge/Chrystlers? I really would like to buy a Charger but everyone I have ever known that has owned a Dodge/Chrystler has had some kind of problem with them.

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins Diesel, 183,000 miles and still running fine just routine maintenance stuff.

With all due respect you need a stick of dynamite to hurt a Cummins diesel.

Yeh that's true, but the rest of the truck has held up fine too.

Isn't the powerstroke a V8 cummins with sleeves?

on 205,000 miles, we've done 1 brake change, 4 transmisson flushes, changed oil on 3500 mile or set time intervals, whichever come first (or 1 month there for awhile, now dad goes about 6 weeks between changes since he drives 700 miles a week as upposed to 1000). Replaced the front left wheel bearing, and i think that's about the only maintenance we've done. No coolant flushes yet, but the block is leaking coolant from one of the freeze plugs in back of the block and the thermostat housing (but not badly).
