Has anyone heard anything about TRAC.........the new series that is supposed to start up next Spring? I've been to their website about once a week for the past month or so and their is almost nothing there. Every page you go to says "Coming Soon". Wonder if it's all falling apart. I was sort of looking forward to seeing what it's all about.

Seems interest in this deal has died out altogether.

As far as I know the organization still exists, but not one of their upcoming announcments has made it to fruition in the last couple of months.

No teams, no TV deal, no race schedule. Last I heard was that the cars were no longer being built because the bills had not been paid. Do not know how many were built or in process.

Betcha could get in touch with Riley and Scott Racing and buy a really neat car cheap.

The odds of this getting off the ground by spring are slim and slimmer. The odds of it ever getting off the ground don't seem much better.

darn, i thought that would've been a cool series, at least to check out.

I thought it was a good concept. I at first had doubts that it would come together. But when they announced that they would be racing at IMS tracks, announced the cars, and that they were close to a TV deal i thought it would actually work and at least run a season. But now months later nothing has been said about the TRAC so now i am going back to my origanal idea that they will not take a green flag(at least not in 2003)
The cars do look sharp and the tracks are perfect tracks to hold the races at. I liked the city concept as well. Even great people working on the development of the seris. But they will not be holding the race on the day that they are counting down to on the site. Unless they are doing some major behind the scene stuff that is(really don't think they are)

I never could figure out the concept myself.:) That's one of the reasons I was interested......I really couldn't figure out how it all would work. Anyway, looks like everyone thinks about like I do.....something that ain't gonna be!!

Bet Cale is embarrassed.:)

Go to www.jayski.com and on the side about halfway down the page in the little yellow strip he hs a TRAC page that has some good info on TRAC and the upcoming evnets in it and latest news.

I think it is viper, vetts and mustangs if I remember off of the top of my head

I think they are all really good looking cars. I hope the program doesn't shut down. I was looking forward to it.:(

The seris is basicly Trans-Am on Ovals. With city based teams. 5 drivers for 3 cars per team. the rest is confusing, i would need to read up on it again.
If they got away from the City idea(which I liked) then i think they would have a better chance of getting off the ground.
