You never go on a racing chat site if you don't want to know the results. That's not a rule, just common sense.

Well if its a thread not about the race :/ you shouldn't post results. I would understand if this was about the truck race but it wasn't so he really shouldn't had done that js.

Is this thread about the Truck race? Nope its about Trackside and I had made a post in it about not seeing it yet and I was coming back to post yeah I just saw it and it got ruined for me.. Not like I went to the Dover truck race thread.

Yeah, anytime a sporting event will be aired on a delayed basis and you do not want to know the results, it's better to just stay away from any type of racing website or forum. Someone here could have just as easily made a thread like "Kyle schools Truckmates" before you were even able to access the Trackside thread. And there would be nothing wrong with that, because today's race is the one and only NASCAR race in the entire season that will not be shown live (excluding rain delays). Although, I, too, don't like to see posted results before a same day tv broadcast airs. People will do it just because they can.

I hate to admit this, but I have to stay away from television, the internet, and answering certain people's phone calls during half of the Cup races in any given year now. Dvrs are a great thing. But my days of making excuses for missing an important engagement in order to watch a live Cup race, are long gone.

harvidk is an idiot. watch for kyle to show him up every chance he can get on the track. while entertaining, taunting a rival in sports often turns out bad for the taunter. get him on the track kyle...repeatedly. don't forget to smile and wave at him after the races. no need to be a bad sport. <g>

It's the internet. Like I said, if you don't want to know results, stay away. Especially from racing websites. And Facebook. And news sites. Hell, just don't get on the internet.

If you can't watch a sports event live and tape/dvr it you should avoid TV,radio and the internet until you can watch it. If your surprise is spoiled it's nobodies fault but your own. My 2¢
 
I avoid facebook and stuff yeah but most forums have rules where you can just randomly post crap about an event some where and about thread titles most forums have where you can't do that either. Heck the truck race wasn't even on TV live so thats another damn thing. I think its bullcrap that a forum allows that cause no other forum I'm on for anything(which is mainly wrestling) allows such bullcrap to be done.

Apparently, he can beat Kevin, too and Kevin's not a rookie.

Do some research, I've been a Kyle fan from the beginning. I knew he was going to be good even when he wasn't winning in the 5 car.

I enjoyed the Fontana race very much, thank you.

Face it, getting on the internet and expecting not to run into results from a completed event was a bonehead move. Might even qualify for bonehead of week.:D
 
I guess no one around here know how forums should work I guess.

Like with wrestling when I can't see something as its going on or I start late they are threads that you talk about that event going on and you don't take it out of that thread or you'll get in trouble. I feel that should be a rule on any forum that way this don't happen. No matter if you think its dumb or not to come on you got to admit it would be a good idea to have a thread to keep that stuff in.

This is not about how a forum is suppose to work. It is about how it does work. Every forum that I have ever been on "and that's a lot" you have to use common sense because there will always be someone giving results. Everyone is trying to help you understand that this procedure is probably not going to change because they have no way of knowing if you have watched the program or not. The common sense thing to do is not log on to a racing site or watch the news if you don't want to know the results. This is just some free advice, you don't have to follow it.:)

I have to admit I went into the trackside thread thinking it was about the show. Figured the results from the race would have been in the thread about the race. Didn't see where the trackside show had anything to do with the truck race.

You know you could always you know maybe post your thoughts in the thread about it? Also what if someone came on the forum not knowing the race was taped? I mean what does the Truck race have to do with Trackside? Just because Harvick was on it talking about Kyle? Does that make it about the Truck Race?
 
Well, I guess I learned something new today. I listened to the race live on Sirius radio so I could have easily done the same thing.
