I asked this in another forum and I'll ask it here. While it may be a bit too early for Christmas music, has anyone heard of this group, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and if so, what do you think of them? They remind me a lot of ELO in the early years, a kind of heavy metal mixed in with some classical styles. I believe that along with Manheim Steamroller, they are the new generation of sound for the Christmas season. They have a magnificent sound and I highly recommend them for anyone who loves Christmas music.

I actually haven't heard them although I have heard very good things about them. I do have some Manheim Steamroller Christmas stuff and it is awesome. :)

I've done a little research on TSO and they used to be known as Savatage. Now days, they are touring both sides of the country at once, thus they are now two different groups with the same name playing the same music. I do like their style.
