Do the teams usually drive together?
mustang, it's hard to say. I do know that when I've seen one hauler going to a race or a test, I see several. It probably makes the journey go a bit faster when you're traveling with friends.

It would be funny to see all the haulers racing down the highway together.

The July that Daytona was postponed because of the fires, all the haulers left about the same time. The hubby and I were headed south. About 15 of them were nose to tail headed north. Was an awesome sight. That was when we realized that something was wrong! LOL Turned on the radio to find the race had been postponed.
TRL, I have friends in Daytona, and that was one bad scene!

kat, we drove on to Daytona, and toured Daytona, USA -- it was still open! I had to see Dale's winning car, and the lucky penny. Even got interviewed on TNN about the postponement(my 15 seconds of fame). LOL
When we left, we were standing by the car, I held out my hand and ashes from the fires drifted down into my hand. At one point, the fires were just across the street from turns 1 and 2.
Driving to Orlando, at times the smoke was horribly thick. You could see the fires on both sides of the freeway.

I just think it would be a good idea to travel together, mainly for safety reasons.
the weather up here is cooler than yesterday. Yesterday it was in the 80's, but it was in the 60's today. It sprinkled some but not much. Good Luck in court.
