Nah, it's my fault for not using pictures. ;)

Truth is, I confused myself and posted the Daytona thread first.......2 times. Then I remembered my original plan was to do it for the Shootout, so I posted this. That's what is getting people confused now.

My DVR is set the same way. Unfortunately, I only have a 500mb HD in the thing that's almost full. I have the darn thing so polluted with bad movies that I'll probably never watch. Time to do some DVR cleaning.

I like my net based DVR. Unlimited storage. Soon, every box in the house will be able to 'record' 4 shows at a time. It's a great idea. I imagine that recording a show simply marks the file on a server and allows you to access it when you want. The ISP records it once, and anyone whose chose to do so will access the same copy. There's no need for expensive multi-tuner boxes anymore.

It's a very smart idea, and it actually would save bandwidth. It probably wont be long before they just store ALL of their programming for futher access to everyone, since chances are atleast 1 person will 'record' every show.
 
I have started resording some programs in Standard Def so that they will take up less space on my hard drive. Hi-Def does not help Tony Kornheiser... lol
