I think the highlight of the nite, is the dollar beer LOL JK If anyone is around there, head over to Pontoon Beach, IL for the mid season championships. Head over to Dick Taylor and John Beck and tell them hi. Pretty good guys there. I used to wrench for both of them. However, j.B. gave me my first chance to run his latemodel....talk about WOOD!!!! Anyway, some of the fastest in the St. Louis area will be there to try to take the glory. Classes running are:

UMP Mods
Street stock
Factory stock(4 cylindar)

It used to be a half mile, with 1/4 mile in the infield of the half. However, many drivers complained about the track being rough on motor with the high speeds. Kevin Gundaker took the track over and has made awesome strides in getting this track to be one of the best around. Pics of the track(airial photos)
