Hell of a hurricane building on the west coast of Cuba. No saying where this one will go.

Batten down the hatches. Stock the beer cooler.

:( Been watching that. My girl friends sister and hubby lives down in the Flordia panhandle. I know they are keeping an eye on it.

Hell Cancun is only 80 miles from there,I bet they are watching the weather channel for sure.:(

Been keepin' a hairy eyeball on her myself, she's gonna be a big girl, and she don't know where she wants to go yet.

That thing has me watching very closely. If it heads my direction, I'll pack the car and head north to Palestine.

It's not the rain that worries me, it's the wind.

Hi Little Bro Wally

The Ntnl Wth Svc chooses to name hurricanes alternately male and female. I researched this one and find Isidore is male. http://www.scborromeo.org/saints/isidores.htm

I liked it better when we knew for sure that the tempest was a lady. Even the Navy these days refuses to refer to ships in the female gender. PC insanity.

Let's start a group to lobby against this foolishness. First though we need a volunteer to take over the CHAIRPERSONSHIP. :) :) :) :p

I don't care if it's a "he", "she", or "it"! This storm has me very nervous, now. The Hurricane Center still has it turning north and taking dead aim on the upper Texas coast --- ME!

GOOD LUCK TRL, cuz it looks like it's headed your way. NWS is projecting the path to hit in your area as of noon my time.

:D From the looks of it Isadore may be falling apart. Hope so.

Well, so much for the brief respite. Has moved north, back over open water. Hurricane center says it should move into Louisiana. Means Houston will be on the "good" side.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Guess what ya'll? It found me!Got the storm shutters down. The wind gusts are strong. The heavy rain if fast moving. My biggest worry is tornadoes and power outages.Looks like a long night for me.Stocked up on supplies and candles. My parish is Jefferson right before you get to Plaquimenes Parish.(they're being evacuated as I type)I'm not leaving.Thinking about having a party with my neighbors while we ride this storm out.Depends on how bad things get.

Don't look now,I might be floating by you! lol:D

The rain is here now. Fourisis how deep is the water down there? I think the worst part will be east of us. The next one looks like the real deal (Lili). It is south of Cuba heading into the Gulf.

Be careful, everyone! Stay safe and informed.

This is one time I'm glad to be in the Northeast. :(

Had some street flooding, canals went over, city was under.Never lost electric.Glad it's over.worried about lili too.I think we lucked out this time.Hope we all get lucky again. How bad was it by you?

This stupid storm has been dumping rain on us for about a day and half straight now. And it's not supposed to quit until tomorrow afternoon. This sucks.
