... How dare you mix NASCAR and Shakespeare. j/k ;)

ESPN's NASCAR coverage is infact a tragedy. :( If they're not making any changes, NASCAR should pull the plug on it's contract and let TNT and FOX work out having the complete schedule.

They don't have SEVEN years to perfect it, they have one.

As it stands, ESPN's NASCAR coverage sucks. Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin and Brian the Dog could commentate a race better than those idiots. :D

:XXROFL:

And, what is wrong with Stephen King.

btw, off topic........Keep your eye on Tony Stewart as there is now an opportunity for him to buy a Nascar team and bring Chevrolet back with him............McClure has closed their doors. Could be an opportunity for Tony.

Since we've wandered off, I'm going to move us to Chit-Chat.

muggle, I like Steinbeck -- Cannery Row, Grapes of Wrath, The Pearl

Bronte --- I love! Jane Eyre is one of my favs. The only thing is sometimes Bronte gets bogged down, and you have to trudge through until the story picks up again.

I enjoy Anthony Trollope, some Dickens(he can get really, really turgid), almost all of Jane Austen. Dorothy Dunnett is a later writer that has tickled my fancy.

I have read all of John Steinbeck and loved every one of the books. I just read Jane Eyre last year and enjoyed it tremendously. The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway was also a great book. Of the recent books, I liked The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.
