I am at work just wondering if anyone can tell me how truck qualifying is going?

Terry Cook won the pole. Just literally walked in the door so I can't tell you more....

Terry Cook has the pole with Chase Montgomery in the outside pole. Travis Kvapil (toyota) is third.

Hank Jr 11th!! Yeehawww!!

As a side, looks like Toyota may be trouble for the Fords, Chevys and Dodges. I know qualifying ain't nothing to judge how well any car or truck may run in the race but it is an indication of how they stack up against the others in an identical set of circumstances! Gonna be an interesting CTS season!!

Gooooooooo Hank!!! :D

Looks like the #62 team must have concentrated completely on the race setup. Steve's truck should be alot better drafting, at least I hope! Good run for Randy. On a different note, what the heck happened to the #62 sponsor? I read that Brendan said the deal was close and they might be on by friday, but you would think a sponsor would want be on by now as Daytona's by far the biggest event of the year. If they don't have a sponsor by friday night, I think theres a good chance they may be running everything out of Michael's pocket again this year.

Here come the excuses already, I heard park in the 1st practice saying they are still working the bugs out, new driver, new crewchief, new body. I hope for his sake he finishes in the top ten.

I don't hate park, I wish him the best, IMO I don't think he has what it takes anymore, he's in a truck that was a championship contender last year and the only thing that has changed is the driver and the crewcheif, so I'm afraid if he bombs out in that truck it might be the end of his career.

He has too many good influences, he'll be good I can feel it, if he isnt it must have been meant to be

For someone who wishes Park the best you come off awfully negative towards him in each of your posts. Just curious, why didn't you say anything about 3 of the other top trucks down on the list: Sprague, Wood and Crawford?

What does Sprague, Wood, and Crawford have to do with this? It is of general consensus that Steve Park is just not like he used to be. I too would love to see him succeed but coming back even 90 percent from a brain injury is hard to do.

you're right , sprague is jumping into a truck that did win the championship and I'm sure there are some big expectations from him and as for park, well if he wins a couple of races and finishes in the top ten I hope that's enough to satisfy the critics. Like I said I wish him the best.

Because every time CTS speeds have been posted he has pounced on Steve, yet ignored all other struggling top teams.

today is the first time they been on the track and this is the first thread about the trucks and this will be my last post on this subject

It's not good to lie... From the Daytona trucks testing thread, your very first comment "not a very good start for mr.park."

Wow had to go back a few pages to try to prove your point, well I guess he did a little better in testing than qualifying, and for your info I thought we were talking about current events.

I hope that there sandbagging or have it completely set up for the race. Im hoping either park, or musgrave will win it (race and season). Not a big park fan but Im just so use to rooting for that team. Also im always happy to see a dodge team do well.
