Truck Race Getting Underway

The 66 race truck blew up during practice? Looks like the flagman WASN'T put on probation.

So, if they get going by 6pm, the Truck race should conclude by 6:30 or 7. Sun sets around 8:11pm EST.

Looks like the ARCA Racing Series won't be racing until Sunday at the earliest.

Hearing now that NASCAR may run both the Truck and Cup race on Sunday and the ARCA race would be cancelled altogether.

Okay, here's what I've been told directly:

NASCAR Sprint Cup at 1, Trucks (if postponed) at 6 followed by ARCA.

Problem is there is no window, they can't run a 125 mile ARCA race in under 45 minutes unless they go caution free (which, to my knowledge, has never happened in recorded ARCA Series history).

It looks like the weather isn't going to allow for either race to be completed.

Ok what did you do to make it rain up there? What ever it was could you send some of it down here?

Send a little this way also. I now have a hole in the back yard that used to be a pond.

Revised schedule, assuming NASCAR can't get the race in inside this "window of opportunity":

9am: Truck Series (SPEED)
10am: ARCA
1pm: Sprint Cup (ESPN)

By the way, the "r" word is in the forecast for tomorrow.

One of the ARCA drivers just tweeted that the ARCA race might actually be cancelled... so we'll see.

Thanks for the update.

SPEED sucks.

9am: NASCAR Camping World Truck Series live on SPEED.
10am: ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards (airs a full 12 hours later on SPEED, and because of the contract with SPEED, ARCA will not provide live audio)
1pm: NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on ESPN.

I guess the Kenny Wallace shoutfest (NASCAR RaceDay) is too important and SPEED can't air the ARCA race because of it.

**** SPEED.

As the old saying goes : Money talks and bull**** walks.

ARCA needs to get their **** off SPEED.

Every time they air a "live" broadcast of ARCA, the results are in an hour before the race ends. I'd rather see them go on a 60 minute show once a week with a condensed version of the races -- at least it'll cut the bull**** 20 minute cautions (for a single car spin).

Ready to go again.

I foresee some pretty crazy racing.

I wonder, are crews allowed to do any type of work on vehicles during a postponed race as opposed to a red flag deal?

I'd think they'd at least permit them to check tire pressures

GWC and the leader, Harvick, is getting very low on fuel.

Harvick has the dominate truck all weekend and wins the race.

Busch 2nd and just didn't have enough to make a run at him.

Man must of been a quick race I completely missed it this morning.
