Truck RACE thread --- Martinsville

Wierd. I've never fell bored watching a race at this track but today, I cant even focus for 5 minutes on it.

Between the stage racing, the cautions and the wrecks, it's too much distraction.

Chase should've moved Bell when he had the chance earlier. All of these other guys would've had no problem moving him. Sauter drove into the corner straight as an arrow underneath him and nearly wrecked him.

Sauter is mad he got blocked but forgot about using the 23 as a backstop a few laps earlier. Typical.

That last 50 or so laps were super fun.

Great race from the stands. Really good crowd. The 23,21,4 and 18 put on a pretty good show.

Cup drivers shouldn't be allowed to race in the Truck series. Sauter lost out on an important win and points towards the championship.

Lets put this into context.

1. 21 YO kid beats 38 YO that has 4 wins at the track.
2. Driver with a little over 1 year in cup beats 38 YO Asshat.
3. Asshat driver expects kid to pull over so Asshat can win.

Lets put this into context.
1. Chase Elliott is a Cup driver who sits in one of the best cars in the series.

2. Whether or not Sauter is an asshat is a matter of opinion and is irrelevant to the discussion. He's a full-time runner in the trucks.

If Busch can be criticized for taking B and C Main wins, so can Elliott. You'll get used to that.

Thanks for the attention, had no ideal you cared.

Chase was in this race for seat time at Martinsville because he struggles there in cup. That was his #1 priority, not winning a clock.

He could've easily won last fall also but he respected those guys racing for a championship. Just like today, he had a dozen opportunities to use up Christopher Bell but he didn't. Kinda like Sauter tried to do to Chase late in the race when he dive bombed him from 5 car lenghts back. So I don't want to hear jack about him spinning a lap down car that was in the way.

You'll hear about it whether you want to or not. It was needless.

I'm sure it won't be a regular occurrence but he did it and did so purposefully. "I was frustrated."

I'm a big fan of CE and KL, dominance of lower series races is going to get old though. I take pride in hating KyBu because of his buschwhackin' shenanigans.

It's going to take a lot of Saturday w's to reach KyBu and Carl Edwards' level of buschwhackery, however.

Ross Chastain and Ryan Truex both had top 10s', makes me happy to see both talented drivers finish well.

I like Austin Hill as well, I hope that dude gets some sponsorship or something. He's really quick in an underfunded truck, I kind of wish BKR had a third truck for him.

I'm already tired of Larson in Xfinity, and hopefully Chase only has 1-2 races left in Trucks, though he doesn't stink up the show that badly or run too many races. The race did not look too bad though will have to watch a full replay.

Yeah me to I was not aware that lower tier series gave the clocks away as well as for the racing it was an alright race
