Sounds good on paper but you will be disappointed
and uninterested by the 10th checker under yellow.
A soccer game finishing nil - nil will be more exciting.

Didn't used to bother me. Doesn't bother me in IndyCar or IMSA. On the other hand, two or more GWCs at the end of the same race, and all the running around under yellow in between, is annoying as Hell.

Scores aren't always reflective of action. 0-0 tie games could have features a ton of shots on goal and excellent keeper work.

Road courses shouldn't have overtime. Ovals should be limited to three attempts.

No problem , we are just on opposite ends of the "fan expectation" spectrum.

For some reason I just have always enjoyed a hard fought finish to the
checkers and if the sanction comes up with a way in GWC's then cool.
Sure its monotonous at times and I do hate when drivers make errant
decisions and tear their gear up at the end of a long race but that's on them.

Yeah because we haven’t had a ton of superspeedway finishes decided by when the caution came out lately.
