Truck Racing at Martinsville

NASCAR just screwed Chrissy Wallace out of a top 10 finish.

It's been the Kyle Busch/Denny Hamlin show so far.

KHI trucks have both been heavily damaged in two seperate incidents.

Kyle Busch has caused 1 wreck in this race.

A little over 100 to go.

Dennis Setzer wins, and Kyle Busch causes 3 wrecks before the end of the race, including the last shot (pun intended) at Benson.

Chrissy Wallace finishes in the top 25 on the lead lap in her career debut at Martinsville.

Well, KBv2 did it again. hehehe

Will that boy EVER learn.

Yeah, I don't know what his deal was there on the last lap.

I think today will be the day that we look back on, Chrissy Wallace is 19. She's young, she's got the talent and the skill. Most drivers reach their peak physical ability at age 30-35. I just think that today will be a day that 5-10 years from now we look back on and compare it to Janet Gunthrie making her career debut.

Congrats to Dennis Setzer winning the truck race and Congrats to Chrissy Wallace finishing in the top 20 on her first ever truck race.

I think Kyle explained it perfectly. He saw an opening and would rather finish 2nd than 3rd. It was just too bad it slowed him down to get punted from the rear. It was the last lap so I'll just put it down as a racing deal.
Now as to Benson's crew on pit road, Nascar needs to look at that.

But he'd already caused the prior caution, and wrecked someone else before that.

Kyle's an idiot. They shouldn't let him run Trucks, he causes 2 or 3 wrecks every race.

And your point is?? Kyle is an exciting driver. He's a throwback to a different age. He puts fannies in the seats. He puts eyeballs on the TV. He is the best thing Nascar has going right now. He's the bad guy who lets it all hang out and you are guaranteed to see a show every race he's in.
And most importantly he's not the person he was last year. He's matured some. He knows what he wants and he has the ability to go for it while the other drivers just sit back and wish they had half his guts and talent.

Oh, by the way, I'm interviewing for the opening he has as PR person. What do you think...

:lol2:

It's exciting, but he seems to wreck himself out and wreck others out every time. That's gonna get old after a while.

Old for who ?????

Kyle Busch is the best and most exciting driver to watch.

He makes NASCAR racing look like it did a long time ago and has made it as exciting as watching Tim Richmond and Dale Earnhardt combined.

Kyle Busch has replaced Tony Stewart on my list as the best driver in the Sprint Cup Series.

I hope he never changes his style. He is truly a breath of fresh air.

On another note, Kyle did get his comeuppance when Crafton booted him for the coveted second spot.

Gotta give kudos to Ken Schrader. He deserves high marks for a good finish since they haven't been as plentiful as of late for a guy with his talent.

Chrissy Wallace did a good with her top twenty finish and the truck being relatively free of damage, all a good indication she will be a factor with more experience.

I think matt crafton was pissed about what he saw kyle do on the last lap and threw him to the side with benson. Was the best move i saw all day. Setzer was able to keep a white truck looking really clean all day on a short track. Kyle had to beat everybody around to get anywhere. He beat Star around and out of the groove so star put his lf wheel against kyles rr quarter panel so kyle couldnt turn in. He should have learned then he was painting a target on his back. I dont care if he saw a hole. Some of the best drivers know when they need to ride it out, expecially when your driving a truck for a young team that is trying to be established you dont mess up their equipment doing something like that. I didnt see benson shoving people around to get up to second, and didnt see any marks on his truck to show that he was doing that.
