I was reading on Jayski's where Brian France was talking about thing for next year and one that stuck out to me was this "The average age for drivers in the Truck Series will be dropped from 18 to 16 for road courses and any tracks 1.1 mile or less"

I love the idea honestly, it gives a few younger guys to have a chance, I like the fact it's not the bigger tracks they are allowed at as that might not be too smart of a move but I look forward to seeing who might be put in a ride next year for some of these races. I like too see Chase Elliott in one of the races.

With the level of safety they now have, I think it's a great move and should bring some youth back to the sport.

What struck me was that someone doesn't know the difference between 'average age' and 'minimum age'. Whether that was BZF or someone in the reporting chain has yet to be determined. If it's the average age, they're going to have to bring in toddlers to counteract Hornaday and the Onion.

If thats true I think we'll see Chase Elliott in a truck
