Truck Teams

I have been casually following along with the CWTS this season, but have only watched a couple truck races so I am not following it like NW or Cup. I have 2 questions though:

1: Why are there so little legit truck teams? There are really only about 15 truck drivers who have ran all the races. Sure that's similar to the NW series but it less than that. And filling the field are a crap load of start and parkers -- why S&P is trucks? Doesn't it pay less than other serieses?

2: Could someone give me a run down of how good some of the truck teams are? Like I know ThorSport and Turner have the best equipment followed by RCR, but howzabout teams like Turn One and Eddie Sharp? How is their equitment?

Thank you.

I think because there is not alot of money in it andthe schedule being spread out means its notreally worth it to have just a decent team

I'm wondering when NASCAR is just going to ax this series.

This series has seen its hayday gone by.

I don't really follow it much either, but I do enjoy watching the odd race. I think sometimes the step down in driving talent makes for some good and exciting racing.

I like seeing some of the young kids out there, really liking that Ryan Blaney kid I think he's going to be a stud

1) It costs the same to build a truck as it does a car.
2) Sponsors pay less because the ratings are a lot lower than the Cup series.
3) The prize money is a lot lower as well.

The owners who have cup teams use Truck & NNS as it's farm system. All that being said I enjoy the Truck series and hope it stays around for a long time.

Best racing series in NASCRAP....Hungry young drivers who haven't reached DIVA STATUS yet...

Every series down the ladder has less and less sponsorship. ARCA is even worse off .These guys are hungry to attract maximum attention in a short period of time (until their money runs out.)

It went from short tracks, where veteran short trackers drove and many of the new guys started in the truck series to what it is today..super speedway vehicles..that aren't anything close to a truck. They try to play it up like it is fender banging sparks flying..but it is Aero this and that and if they get touched they are in the pits. The dirt race was a move in the right direction along with rockingham.

Okay that makes sense.

What about the tiers of the teams?

I think they have a pretty fair mix of have and have not teams , kids and veterans . Ten different winners in twelve races and nine different pole winners . As for guys who finish at the tail end of the field , unlike Andy , I have never seen or heard of a form of racing that doesn't have them . You have to start somewhere.

But there are so many...just sayin

So many up and coming drivers from other series' tring to live their dream and make it to the top?
