Trucks at Chicago

A black and white #3 and a black and gold #2, this reminds me of the classic duels Dale Earnhardt and Rusty Wallace had in 1993 and 94.

Gaughan to the lead.

Ty's a wheelman, but he's an idiot when he's in the pack. As I said last year, he didn't learn a damn thing in ARCA by having a Cup car, Cup engine and Cup crew under him protecting his 10 second leads.

Also, it's amazing how enjoyable a race is when the network shows us the racing going on in the pack instead of being at commercial the entire time.

This was another mile and a half track, yet it was in my opinion, one of the top five best races of the season. Good racing the entire race. They were driving their hardest whether they were out front or deep in the pack! I agree with the tv coverage as well...Speed does an awesome job with that! We saw much more racing than we do on all the other networks.

Well said.

Imma rate this one a 9.

I will also rate this race a 9. The last 20 laps gets a 20 from me.

Didn't see the thread, damn it! Not a bad race, enjoyed the last 20 a lot. James Buesher is certainly coming in to his own lately.

Buescher is the real deal. He would have won the championship last year if he had qualified for all the races. This year he had a DNF at Iowa after leading 91 laps, and is 35 back. Going 2 laps down for a carb change and coming back for the win is something special.

Hornaday and Sauter drove like idiots last night. They couldn't or wouldn't hold their line and ruined 4 or 5 trucks between them.

Hornaday seems to be having a off year. It's not the same Hornaday we've seen in the past IMO. Sauter seems to be the same jacka*s we've always seen and nothing he does on track comes as a shock. Buesher on the other hand has seem to come a long way this year. He seems never to give up, he knows when to push it and when to take what's given. I'd like to see him in a Nationwide car full time next year and concentrate solely on that. If Turner wants to go Cup racing they may have the guy that can do it for them.
