Chevrolet Silverado 250 Sunday 2 P.M. ET on FS1
Trucks on a road course this weekend, should be a barn burner. 1/2 owner Ron Fellows is not racing but being a promoter this weekend. No cup regulars are in the race. Max Papas is about the only road course ringer I see entered, so who knows who is going to come out on top. Great to see the trucks not only on dirt but a road course this year. Ron Hornady is the only truck driver in the field to drive a truck on a road course.

I don't think I have ever seen a Nastruck setup to go both ways. those pics aren't showing much camber in the front end.

This guy sounds like a ringer in the #6 truck OR he might be the next Jacques Villeneuve. :headbang:
The No. 6 truck returns to action with the Truck Series debut of driver Mike Skeen. It is very possible you have never heard of Skeen before, but he could be a dark horse for this event.

Skeen claimed the pole position and won the last four consecutive races in the Pirelli World Challenge GT Series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. He currently drives the Hawk Performance Corvette in World Challenge, and has captured multiple wins. He also has victories in the SCCA Pro Racing Trans Am Series.

Cool experiment by NASCAR, it's definitely something to watch. Last Truck road course race was back in 2000.

The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race this weekend (also in Bowmanville, ON) has a few truck series regulars running their race to get some practice.
Drivers doing double duty include(Canadian Tire Series car numbers)
#4 Ty Dillon
#7 Jeb Burton
#24 James Buescher
#27 Chad Hackenbracht
#39 Alex Guenette (Canadian Tire Series regular)

OMG truck guys going down to a lower series and stealing their prizemoney . I won't watch it.

LOL, Those Canadian Tire races usually pay about $5,000-8,000 to win so i'm sure that will really help out those truck guys.
Ty Dillon actually ran the other Canadian Tire Series race at this track in May of this year as well. I think Austin Dillon ran that event last year or the year before.

The ringer is fastest. With Blaney and then Papis

I didn't realize its been 13 years since the last RC race.. Hope it's a good show, I'd like to see nascar increase the number of RCs

I think they listen to the fans who want more road courses. works for me anyway. It should be a really good race..somebody has to beat the ringer Skeen.

Crafton is struggling.. good thing if the points race is to get close anytime soon.

Why can't I at least follow Truck qualifying? Not only is it not on tv, their is no live tracker on Nascar.com.. WTF?

Blaney has been fast and up at the top in all practices. He might give the ringer Skeen #6 a run for his money. Paludo and Germain are road racers too. Be interesting to see how they do in a truck. This is no doubt going to be a good race, might be the race of the weekend.
I found a stream of the final cup practice..screw FS2.:punkrocke
