Trucks @ Iowa

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this division puts on some of the best racing of any in NASACAR. :beerbang:

Looks like the Truck Series has all but jumped the shark. Short field and now NASCAR has approved Greg Seevers who has never done anything but 2 lap start and parks in ARCA. A qualifying speed 38 MPH off the pace on a short track. I understand ARCA doing this but has it now come to this for NASCAR?

Iowa's one of the last places I thought I'd see a "crash test dummy" be tested in an accident. Glad Justin Marks was ok. Not sure what they can do to that pit road wall (other than install SAFER barriers) to prevent another accident such as this. Wonder if this crash opened Richmond Int. Raceway's eyes. I think their pit wall is similiar to Iowa's.

I thought I read somewhere RIR just installed some more SAFER barriers...I'll see if I can find something on it.

Correct. That was on the inside backstretch wall. Not sure if the outer pit road wall has them, though.
