Trucks

It's always frustrating when a tire goes down because there's absolutely nothing the driver can do.

Looks like Fender was right. Already three cautions, all due to wrecks.

Are right front tires gonna be a problem tonight or is it just gettin out in the loose stuff the bigger problem?

I would say the efforts to age the track have paid off. It seems like guys are expecting a lot more grip.

Soon the talent challenged will be too slow to wreck. Then the better drivers will have room to wreck late in the race. I see a lot of stupid running down going on, and guys are getting loose easy.

This is why it's nice when you have Cup boys in the Truck Series; simply so there's someone that doesn't run into everyone else :D

We've already got a few "good" drivers taken out. Even the decent drivers are getting loose.

See how Blaney ran Kligerman tight and Parker just sailed up the track? There's no grip out there, so any lost air really hurts. I really wish nascar would solve this aero sheet where guys can't run side by side without wrecking.

I'll bet drivers got in their cars tonight thinking "Temps are cool. There will be tons of grip". lol

Aero doesn't happen at PIR. Loose takes over way before aero can happen.
No grip even by yourself. We saw that in qualifying.

Sure it does, as PArker just stated. You can see his back end following Blaney as he drive by. Any loss of downforce leaves these guys with almost nothing. The inside cars have been sliding up all night when someone is outside. The backend on these trucks is so light, and the air is so dirty coming over that cab, even the huge spoiler isn't enough.

Such a clean race last week, so now these guys think they gotta wreck every other lap!

There's another inside car getting loose. These guys need to start giving more room to the inside car or they'll end up like Sauter.

The truck on the outside only makes it worse. There's no grip alone, way worse with someone on the outside.
Knuckleheads mashed each other again...

Yeah, that's what I said. When they get too close, they take air off the inside trucks spoiler and they come around.
