Ok, where's he going to go? I don't see him staying with DEI. Will Stewart-Hass add a third team?

I like Mikey.
I think it would be a smart business decision to retire and hire Truex for the 55 ride.

Strong rumors have him possibly going to Michael Waltrip racing, and possibly into the 55 car. Mikey said earlier in the year that he might hang up his helmet after this year if he didn't run well. so far that has been the case.
And now all the mikey bashing can begin. I figure Andy will be the first.
NAH! I'll take first stab at it. Mikey is one of the most unsuccessful success stories there is in NASCAR. Doubtful he ever would have made it from the minor leagues of Owensboro, KY to the major leagues of NASCAR if it had not been for his brother. There have been occasional flashes of driving but that is all they were, flashes. I don't want to take anything away from him for winning the Daytona 500 twice but what the hey, Derrick Cope won it once and that should put things in some perspective for Mikey.
In the head to head comparison at www.racing-reference.info/ , Jeremy Mayfield came out ahead of Michael Waltrip. Going one step further, Scott Riggs came out ahead of Michael Waltrip. While his flamboyance may endear Mickey to some, his ability on the track is what counts. Showing people you can get the job done counts for more than telling people you can get the job done.
NAH! Michael should a gone a long time ago but like his brother, didn't know when to quit.
Mikey will retire IMO , at least he has hinted at it , he knows it is time to concentrate on the business side. He can't do both, IMO that is what ruined his marriage, but then again that is just speculation on my part. As for Truex in the 55, I would like to see Kasey Kahne in that car, but Tony will probably snag him for his team, keep all the open wheel guys together....lol. Kasey has a lot of talent, with the right crew chief combo he can be a title contender.

He shoulda quit before he started.
Funny you mention about his marriage. Remember after the Prelude when Tony won and donated the check to Kyle Petty's VJG camp? Kyle kissed Tony on the cheek. Tony responded by saying....... "Funny, I thought Michael Waltrip would be the one to do that."
Maybe that's the reason for his ruined mariage. LMAO
guess i'm out of the loop too. i remember when he proposed to her on tv after winning a busch race. kinda stuck out because he hadn't won all that much. talk about being put on the spot. <g> couldn't have been planned because who would have thought he would win?I must be out of the loop, Mikey and Buffy have split up? Dayum.
I still think if Stewart Haas adds a third team it will be Keselowski.
Report: JR Motorsports preparing move to Cup with Keselowski
The buzz around the garage last weekend was JR Motorsports is setting the stage to move from the Nationwide to Sprint Cup series to field a team for Brad Keselowski. Keselowski said he is negotiating exclusively with Hendrick Motorsports for a fulltime Cup ride in 2010. HMS does not have an opening, but Rick Hendrick does have ownership in JR Motorsports with Dale Earnhardt Jr. Although Hendrick would have to sell his interest in the company to make this happen, that would be a formality.
Just what Jr needs another distraction.
whoa, whoa what was that someone wrote about Mikey & Buffy splitting up? i don't remember hearing about that but if it's true thats too bad for Mike, Buffy is a hot chick I wonder what went wrong...
They split a long time ago almost a year or more now.
I daresay, didn't you read BP's previous couple posts. Waht do you want, a certificate from the judge.I dare say that you can't show any proof of that...can you? I mean that I've searched high and low and can't find anything definitive about it.
Well, if I could see Andy's point of view on this, then I might give BP a little more creedence. But til then, I'm sticking with it's a rumor.I daresay, didn't you read BP's previous couple posts. Waht do you want, a certificate from the judge.
