Trying to watch the 500...

The funny looking almost cars just go round and round till they crash... The names of the drivers seem to be of many nationalities. It for sure is not the all-American race! I cannot wait till 4:30!

I agree they are funny looking cars. But I thought it was a pretty good race. Lot of passing and good hard racing. I was pulling for Patrick and I thought she was gonna win it. :beerbang:
 
how are they funny looking cars? they are indeed faster than that of nascar cars so...i dont know why you complaining
 
They are funny lookng cars. And yes they are faster than Cup cars. And no one is complaining. It was a good race. :beerbang:
 
I also watched a little of the race today. I think I will stick with NASCAR. I was pulling for Patrick though only because of Robby Gordon and his complaining about her advantage.

You know, speaking of Robby... The guy that DID win was a lightweight also! I guess Robby will complain about him too.

Robby was not complaining. Why would he? He was not in the race. He was asked the question (probably the 20th time) and he answered. All depends in how the reporters chose to write it.
 
I watched the 500 and thought it was one of the best in a few years (but I like Indy style racing). Danica proved she is indeed for real, and I'm glad Michael got to taste the milk after all. I am now watching the 600 as I'm a big NASCAR fan too, I'm a Tony Stewart fan mostly due to his Indy roots, my husband is a huge Rusty Wallace fan and my father a big time Jeff Gordon fan. I really just want to see good racing :) I love the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, all racing all day long!! ...in fact I even caught the F1 race on Speed Channel this morning.

i LISTENED to the race on the radio, because im here in IN for the weekend(no not for the race) for some reason they wont show the race live in Indiana they show it at the same time as the 600...
