What are fresh turkeys going for in your area? I called the farm we get our turkeys from and learned a 30 pound is going for $2.84 a pound this year. 
I haven't checked fresh turkeys. I know I paid $1.09 a pound for frozen.
Frozen turkey I got today was $1.10 a pound. I checked fresh turkeys and they were $3.00 a pound.
