I'm the one that went with TNT. Wally Dallenbach and Kyle Petty are the only announcers that don't drive me up the wall and TNT knows drama.

Personally the coverage doesn't bother me all that bad on any of them, the racing just sucks most of the time.

I'm going with TNT too. That's mainly because of their July Daytona race coverage. The other networks need to follow suit and produce a similar product.

There's no way that television will ever do this sport justice. It can't. There's way to much action going on around the track for it to be conveyed to the viewing audience.

I don't really have a problem with any of the coverage as much as I do with Waltrip's favoritism and Macreynold's inability to speak properly.

I guess that's why remotes have mute buttons ;)

I went with TNT.

I went with Speed only because I like to watch the trackside stuff sometimes. Basically I think they all could be a lot better.

They are all better than The Wide World of sports and waiting for my racing paper to come the following Thursday.

I still remember those days. Patience was definitely tested in those days.

I think the SPEED crew that covers the truck series does the best job. Nothing fancy, just good race coverage.

Wow I remember those days, Saturday afternoons plopped on the floor , watching Petty, Pearson, Cale, Bonnet, all those guys....one of my favorites was CooCoo Marlin, Sterlings dad.:beerbang:

I like 'em in this order:
ESPN
TNT a close second, didn't care for Adam Alexander though.
FOX
SPEED

I watched the Martinsville truck race on SPEED and couldn't quit screaming at the television. SPEED needs to watch ESPN, FOX and TNT and take notes. When you're covering two on-track battles at the same time, the split-screen technique does work well.

TNT's advantage is their Wide Open Coverage at Daytona. I think FOX should put their night races on SPEED and use this concept, and ESPN move the night races to ESPN or ESPN2 and use Side-By-Side while putting the daytime races on ABC. I love Wally Dallenbach and Kyle Petty. Adam Alexander was just not good. I think TNT could do a lot better without having a play-by-play announcer since Wally Dallenbach pretty much did the play-by-play when that tool Bill Weber was on.

I went with ESPN because I like the combo. Marty Reid, Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree work well together (though I'd still prefer Bestwick in the booth). And the pit reporters at ESPN (Dr. Punch, Dave Burns and Jamie Little:growl:) are awesome. Their graphics aren't overdone like FOX and they don't have the information overload TNT has. Marty Reid is borderline annoying sometimes, but he is much better than Adam Alexander and much better than Dr. Punch was the last three years.

I hate Kyle Petty in the both and on tv in general always acting like he is the greatest thing there.

Espn use to be intolerable to watch. Now they seemed to have made some changes and are alot better this year. Although I could still go without listening to Brad Daughrty and Rusty Wallace bringing up the most random crap imaganable on the broadcast.

Tnt should of kept Allen Bestwick and not let him go to Espn. They ended up putting Bill Webber in the booth and when he went off on his little magician excursion we get left with a guy that sounds like Kermit the Frog.

Fox I enoyed alot more this year mainly because the constant Digger bs was gone. The announcers seem to be hit or miss. Sometimes I find them kind of fun to listen to but other times just flat out annoying.

Speed mainly covers the Trucks which I only watch every now and then. From what I seen the announcers are pretty good unless they Michael Waltrip with them.

LOL, Kermit the Frog.

As much as DW, Larry Mac and Digger annoy me I think Fox does the best. ESPN has good moments but more bad than good. TNT is just garbage as long as Kyle is in the booth.
