A black girl and a white girl were friends. The black girl slept over
the white girl's house. It was 3 a.m., and they were still up.

The white girl's mother came downstairs and said, "Honey, don't you
think it's time for you to go to bed?"

The white girl responded, "Shut up. I don't want to go to sleep!"

Her mother said, "Okay, honey. You can go to bed later ."

The black girl was very intrigued by what happened and decided to use
that when she got home.

The next night the black girl's mother said to the black girl, "Go to
bed! It's late!"

The black girl shouted, "Shut up. I don't want to go to sleep!"

The black girl's mother took one looked at her...

The black girl started to blink, looked around, and asked, "Where am I?"

A lady came over to the bed and answered, "You're in the Intensive Care Unit, love."

Hey, when I (white) was a child I got whupped and no danged sympathy. My hubby is mostly Native American Cherokee, and he got whupped too.

You use to be able to spank a kid. But if you do it not the kid will sue you.

I live my kids way too much to not spank them. No matter what the courts have to say about it.

but why the different races?? i didnt think that part was needed. Not to be mean or anything.

The only way we get peace in this world is to quit crackin' the white and black jokes. I thought that was rather stupid than funny. Sorry.

I told my mom to shut up once and only once! Got slapped across the face and Knocked on my A**. Nothin' wrong with that though, taught me some respect!

Sorry that I didn't change the race of the kids, just posted it as I received it (FROM MY BLACK FRIEND who's black son is married to a white woman and they are expecting a baby). Don't shoot the messenger and I am probably the least prejudice person you will ever meet.

on a lighter note, one of my students, who is from Korea, wants to learn some good american jokes (not anti american, but jokes based in america)...anyway, he ran into a 1960's style book of WASP (not the band) jokes...I had to figure out a way to tell him "this isn't a good book to read" and then I had to explain what a wasp is, and then he tells me, "these weren't funny anyway"
I thought the joke was fine, would it have been more acceptable if it promoted a negative black stereotype such as the father being gone or the mother being poor? Probably not, but I find it interesting that people offended by a black/white joke are also offended by homosexuality.

Thank you my friend! I have homosexual friends as well as hispanic and other religions too! My parents raised me to honor all I meet.

I could never disrespect my folks growing up,either. To this very day, I can say I never cussed in front of them. We just didnt do that.
