Two races at the same time on the same day on two different networks.

It looks like the Trucks won't start 'til 3:30pm EST at the earliest. That would be the same time as the Nationwide race on ESPN2.

From my understanding of the TV contract, two races cannot air at the same time on two different networks. So, if that's the case, which race gets pushed back?

Waiting to hear back from NASCAR now.
 
NASCAR says that contract clause excludes races delayed by rain. So, for the first time in recent memory, the Nationwide and Truck races will air at the same time on two different networks.

Change your remote batteries because those remotes are about to get busy. The Nationwide race will air on ESPN2 at 3pm EST. SPEED will air the Truck race live as well, which will not start until 2pm EST at the earliest.
 
I'm pretty sure that it happended at least once within the past few years with truck race and a busch race.
 
I was going from the Nationwide, and truck races to the TN/Alabama game. I think my channel recall button is broke lol
 
family dinner then setting up nephew's computer. maybe i'll catch who's winning in between. don't do dvr. been testing windows 7 on 4 machines and i'm stunned. it's actually a good os. <g>
