Some things to look at:
-Ryan Newman, won the 2002 Winston All-Star race, so far he's won 8 races this year. Will he get win #9 today? Newman starts on the pole
-Kevin Harvick, gaining more ground on Matt Kenseth, will he gain a lot more points on Kenseth? Harvick starts 9th.
-Jimmie Johnson, starts 3rd. Won the Winston and the Coca Cola 600, will he sweep both Lowes Motor Speedway races?
-Brian Vickers, Busch Series star starts 20th, could he be a factor to win this race like Jamie McMurray was last year?
-Matt Kenseth has seen lots of success at Lowes Motor Speedway, will he lose more ground to the championship contenders today? He starts 29th
