Things went well yesterday. We got home about 7:00pm. It was a long day. Before the treatments, they did some more high resolution scans. These scans showed the tumor to be smaller than originally thought. (YEA!!)
She had 8 raditation bursts, lasting from 2 to 8 minutes. All things considered, she did very well. Needless to say, we are both relieved to have it over...for now.
We will have to wait 4-6 weeks before doing another scan to determine if the treatments worked.
