Again a note from Sara, Tiny's sister in Charlotte NC: I was in Durham last Tuesday thru Friday, visiting him every day with our 91-year-old dad. He is improving slowly, so they say, but has had a very rough time and is still in serious condition, although they did move him from ICU yesterday to what is called a "step-down" room. It's really a very sad situation and I am not sure what is ahead for him. I attempted to read him the cards you all have sent to him but am not sure he was aware of what I was doing. Dad and I both appreciate the calls and cards you have sent. We both agree that you are a very important part of his life, perhaps the most important part. He is now in Room 6316 at UNC Hospital, 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. I will try to keep you up to date on his progress.
