JOB - URINE TEST (Whomever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)

Joe, the average worker says; Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem with.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their lazy butts, doing drugs, while I work. . . .

Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though . .. . Something has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!

Guess we could title that program, "Urine or you're Out".

If only people really knew what they were paying for. Many years ago, I sat on a civil trial jury where a couple were suing a young chiropractic student for their medical bills and then some. The aspiring young doctor had taken a different route to his school and ran a stop sign, almost t-boning this couple. After two years, they decided to sue him to see what they could get from him. As it was, all of their medical bills were to another chiropractor as silly as that may seem. Long story short, anyone who had any problems with chiros were dismissed from the jury and since I have no problem with them, I was okay. Next we heard from the plaintiff what happened. Next we heard from the defendant his story. Both agreed that he ran the stop sign and hit the plaintiff's car. Next we heard from the chiro on the extent of the injuries to both plaintiffs. Now were are talking degrees here, so that got very complicated. In the end, we the jury awarded the plaintiff only the money they owed for medical bills, which the defendants insurance took care of. Once all of that was over, the judge came to talk to us and tell us what a good job we did. He said we could ask questions and that we did, most being about the plaintiffs. What we found out was that those two people were both on disability Social Security which was the result of drug abuse. We also found out that they probably were both still drug users, but that none of that was germain to the trial. We all said that had we known this, that we might have awarded the defendant the money instead.

My point is that it isn't just welfare that we are providing for drug users. There are millions of people out there who know how to work the system.
