USA 100

The USA 100 was this weekend at Virginia Motor Speedway. This is a neat event, where they run two 25 lap qualifyers, each $1000 to win, followed by a 10,000 to win 50 lap feature. This year, they also combined the Carolina Clash and the MACS series in a combined event. Along with that, they added a $300 bonus to the winner if he ran "topless." (no, not without a shirt, but without a roof)

Late models are bad ass to begin with, and topless they're even cooler. First time I has seen them topless, and what a neat race. Out of the 46 cars, all but about 8 ran topless, so it was f-ing cool!

I love the topless cars too. Gives ya new perspective. We are havin a Shrine Race at my track ( I-77 Speedway http://www.mosleyi77speedway.com/ ) on Sept 6..... It's gonna be 5000 to win for late models, and they are talkin to drivers and crews about having BOTH the Lates and the Crates run topless if they want, with bonus money to winner if topless. Should be a good show.
