Should Verizon be allowed in NASCAR Cup if it advertises FIOS or DSL, a service Sprint doesn't use to directly advertise NASCAR? Remember NASCAR blocked Robby's Motorola car last year until they changed it to motorola MP3 players (beause sprint makes their own phones apparently???). Sprint doesn't have land based fiber optic or DSL that i know of- should FIOS/DSL be allowed?

If I own a business and spend major bucks to be some sort of sponsor with the series, I don't want my competition being a sponsor in any way. I understand that. Rumor has been that Alltel may be buying Sprint. If that happens, it will be a moot point any way.

They don't seem to have a problem with different kinds of beers as sponsors. Hmmm.... how come they don't kick Geico out of the Nationwide race? Oh yeah... they were there first.

Funny you should mention that. This is the last year that Geico will be allowed to sponsor a car in the Nationwide series. They have said that they will not sponsor a car in any other series.

Now that you mention it, I think I do remember hearing that. I guess that pseudo Wallace kid will have to get a new gig. :D

I'm telling you, if they had left the sponsors beer companies and cigarette companies, we wouldn't be having all this crap. LOL Next they'll ban smoking and drinking on track property. Yeah..that will work. :beerbang::puffin:

The Glen now has a "family section" where they don't allow smoking and I think drinking as well. They've put in a kiddie play area which is nice for families and there's plenty of other room at the track for the others. Although there's always someone no matter what kind of event you go to who you wish they'd move to their own section.. .. far, far away from you! LOL

:sarcasm: I'm sure Brian France will be very happy if Verizon bypasses their exclusitivy bs by sponsoring a car with Verizon FIOS :sarcasm:
