Moved in three weeks ago. Appointment made with Verizon last Tuesday to come out and hook up the cable to the part of the house I live. Appointment was for this coming Friday. Okay, fine, cancel all my plans and stay home and take care of it.

They came by today, cancelled the appointment and said I had to call to reschedule... which means another two weeks without cable.

When I work from home, it would be damn nice to have cable TV. Instead, I watch the same 20 movies over and over. Another two weeks with no football, no baseball, nothing. I've heard a lot of people say they despise Verizon FIOS customer service and have switched back to Comcast because of it, now I see why.

It must be really bad if comcast is better.

I really appreciate Verizon saying the appointment would take a week and a half, and then cancelling the appointment and saying I have to call to reschedule.

I'm really enjoying not having cable and missing all the football games, all the baseball games and everything else because I don't get a single TV network. :)

It's bull****. And Comcast isn't better because I still wouldn't have VERSUS/NBC Sports Network or MSNBC.
