Okay, now that we know what you don't like, what is your very favorite food? For me, it has to be filet mignon, done to perfection (medium for me). The Mrs and I have this about every other month, sometimes every month.:chef:

Prime rib............medium rare, au jus. Lots of horse radish sauce, mushrooms and a great big baked potatoe with a full quarter of butter and chives.:)

I don't know, but if you start food with "chinese" or "italian", you might be going in the right direction.

My mouth is watering already.

RPM, love both chinese and italian as well as mexican. My step-mother is german and that is good as well. Oh jeez, I've put on five pounds already thinking of this stuff. Help!:)

Oh, and i forgot about ribs and steak. It's not uncommon for me to have pork ribs and chinese restaurants, or I've even gone as far as having steak or ribs with spaghetti. Good eating, right there. :)

I'm an absolute seafood freak. If it swims I'll eat it, raw or cooked. :D

Same here, but the Mrs for some reason, doesn't like seafood. Love a good surf n turf plate. Hmmmmm!

Nobody's mentioned any deserts, but how about a wonderful, right out of the over, coconut cream pie? Dang, I've got to stop thinking about all this. I'm getting hungry.

Favorite is roast beef (or beast as the girls call it!) mashed potatoes, greenbeans, gravy, and rolls. Second is anything Mexican, love those hot peppers. My youngest one loves spicy too.

My favorite is spaghetti and meatballs, using the secret famliy recipe.

I like country fried steak with mashed patatos. Corn is good with that.

You want dessert, what about Italian Cream Cake, smore brownies, chocolate cream roll cake, key lime pie, bananna split cake, cheescake any type. These are hubby's favories, but his absolute fav. is bananna pudding. I perfer anything chocolate. Give me death by chocolate:) Have many more I make but these come to mind first.

I've had dolphin fish or mahi mahi and it's very good. I've never eaten dolphin the mammal. Don't know if I could eat Flipper burgers.:p

That counts, RPM. I prefer New England to Manhatten style.

That's so much better.

66mustang, Love that too. Though here, they do call it country fried steak, where I came from, we called it chicken fried steak. Love to make that now and then, but man that a heavy meal.

We've never made it. I always order that when I go to Denny's.

One favorite? No way could I name just one. ROTFL

Entres ---
All meats cooked medium rare. Prime rib, filet, T-bone.
Any sort of seafood -- I'll include snails here.

Veggies ---
Spinach, turnip greens, mustard greens, collard greens, green beans, broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, potatoes, okra.

Desserts ---
Lemon pie, chocolate pie, pecan pie, rum cake, Apricot Nectar cake, Haagen-Dazs chocolate chocolate chip ice cream.

TRL, just one! Damn, all of those are good, even great, but which one is the very best? Gotta have my filet.:chef:

My favorite would have to be dang do I have to pick just one well lets see....beef brisket with couscous

Then it would have to be biscuits with AppleButter. (I hide the AppleButter around here. I run with scissors so I don't share well)

I like steak .A good Ribeye or Sirlion. Want it done no blood or pink.

Boiled Crawfish:D hot and spicy with corn on the cob and potatoes.

Anything Mexican is one thing
and and good Cheese Burger, bacon would be nice but not nessecary, Lettuce, Onion, Mayo, Ketchup,Tomato and Mustard

Breakfast: Hot spicy sausage, homemade biscuits and gravy, and fried taters with sliced tomatoes.

Supper: London Broil, grilled to just before medium rare, with skillet fried corn, baked spud, salad, and fresh sourdough rolls.

Junk: Baby Ruth. I don't care what it looks like, they are manna from Heaven.

I would have to say, a good med. rare ribeye steak, baked potatoe w/lots of butter/sour cream, and some fried apples!

I've made myself hungry just typing this all!!!:p

secret obsession
cheese burgers
banana nut bread (really any kind of bread)
oreos:D

Mom's biscuits and gravy for breakfast, chicken and rice for lunch and steak, baked potato, and salad for supper. And Mom's peanutbutter cookies for desert.

Perfect dinner would be shrimp, scallops, and a medium well steak. Desert would have to be a home made chocolate silk pie. A juicy cheesburger with really good fries also sounds good. Almost any Chinese food.

Shrimp fixed anyway sort of like Bubba on Forrest Gump:D
And Mexican food. Some kinds of pasta

It's a toss-up between...

A really good steak, preferably a porterhouse. But, it is very hard to get one done right at any of the steakhouses around here. I can't stand any pink in my meat at all. But to get that here, I have to eat a burnt steak. Too high of a flame I guess. And of course the obligatory baked potato and salad to go with it.

Grilled chicken. My wife makes it with rice-a-roni on the side. It is better than anything I've ever had at a restaurant and she makes it once a week or so.

:)

I love a really good chicken parmesan too.

My avatar does not in any way reflect how badly I loath anything to do with "that place up north". I just lost a bet, that's all. OUCH!

I love that! :) :) :) Hang in there tiger and maybe next time, you can have one of those Spartan icons! :)
