Cute, real cute!!!!! But Jeff isn't the one that started that, and
he isn't the only one that does it either.
Sooooooooooo, that lil ole cartoon could really have
most any drivers name and product in it.

I do think NASCAR is stomping all over the toes of the drivers sponsors
with this BS. If your sponsor is Mountain Dew, and they put
Coka Cola bottles on your car, how do you think your sponsors are going
to like that?????
 
As a Jeff Gordon Fan, I find it FUNNY, but also agree with Dragonlady!

I'm not positive, but I think Matt was the one who started it. Two years ago, he would gently push the Powerade bottles off the car. Last year, even though he only won one Cup race & two Busch races, the press made a big deal about it (probably cuz Junior wasn't winning the Cup championship) and then some of the fans jumped on the bandwagon and ripped Matt for doing it.

If you have a chance, go back and watch tapes from this year's Rockingham and Las Vegas races and you'll see Matt wind up & punch the bottles off the car. I think he did it at Texas after his Busch race win too. Everybody started taking notice when JJ & Gordon started doing it too and I believe when Matt won the Nextel...they put the bottle on the passenger side of the roof so he couldn't punch it.

And of course, he was told not to do it after he won the Busch race at New Hampshire.

The artist that draws these comics is a MK fan and was probably just jumping on the anti-Gordon bandwagon with the Powerade bottle making the comment about Jeff. That would be my guess.
