I like what JG's saying about downforce in the cars, but I'm afraid it's to late.

"I think that, if we continue to add downforce to the cars, we're going to see less and less passing at the race track. The less downforce you have, the more passing you're going to see. If it works at Daytona, why can't it work somewhere else? I may be shooting myself in the foot by saying that, but I think it's something that we might need to look at."

JG is right. F1 downforce is huge and qualifying is of the upmost importance. They had so much of no passing they have a rear wing that folds down to promote passing if the car behind is within 1 second of the car ahead, in special zones.

I say, take the front splitter off the dam car. Pull the rear wing off the car. Make the driver drive the car.
