from BGNracing.com..."Car owner Ricky Hendrick today announced the signing of driver Brian Vickers to pilot the No. 5 GMAC Financial Services Chevrolet in the NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division in 2003."

I think this is great, that kid has a lot of talent and this should be our best chance to see what he can do. I'd like to see him stick with them for a few years, I think he is a good choice for Daddy Rick to move into Cup when Terry retires or for the 25...just not too soon.

Sweet! He has a good career ahead of him. Towards the end of the year, he was running good in that family owned busch car.

Nice to see Brian get a good ride.. he is from this area..

Thats cool I like him. He did alot with the VJCG even though he was not a big named driver that would draw crowds he still helped out. I would have like to see him stay in a Dodge but how well at least he is in a better car.

A shame for David Green, but an excellent opportunity for Brian Vickers. He's an obvious talent that is sure to excel in the years to come. With how well I've seen him perform with limited funding, I can't wait to see what he can do in this ride!

I was reading Jayski's BGN page and he said that David is more than likely going to be driving the #37 Wolf Pontaic if a sponcer can be found for the #27 Pontaic. IF they can't find a sponcer for Atwood, Casey might get the #37 Wolf Pontaic.

Congrats to Brian. I think hes got a huge load of talent and getting a great ride like this is really going to help him and his career.

Bud, Brian graduated from Trinity HS here in NC which is more or less where the Labontes live. Are you from there? Very close to me.
