Attention all race teams and fans:
Drivers and race teams, please take notice of the deadline for the early reduced entry fee for the Scorcher 100, scheduled for Aug. 21-23, 2007 at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. (To me, it only makes sense for the local/regional racers, especially, to enter by August 1 in order to pay $100 instead of $200, which it goes to after August 1. The $100 saved is money that can be applied to buying pit passes.) I've prepared some Scorcher 100 entry blanks that will be at the track on Friday. They'll either be down at the pit sign-in building, or check with Robbie Williams (flagman) when the drivers meeting is held. But my advice would be to just go on www.volunteerspeedway.com and look in the Scorcher 100 event info section and make a copy of the entry blank, fill it out and bring it to the track and pay your $100 entry fee when you arrive at the pit sign-in building.
