Wally Dallenbach's kid, Kate

I was wondering where she was this year. She was driving some dirt, not all that great at that.

She got the hang of asphalt last year, had some real good runs in Kenly. I was really sold on her when someone tried wrecking her in the entrance of three and she got sideways, stayed in the gas, held on and then retook the position from the guy before they exited four. That's talent, you've either got it or you don't.

It was only a matter of time before she got a win.

Ali Kern won a couple of late model races last year as well, not sure what happened to her.

Wow, she really got his face. That sucks.

Good story Andy! If she can pull a win at Hickory, she can go on to bigger venues. Hickory is a tough track to win on in any class of racing there.
Special congratulations to Kate on the win, Wally and Robin and the entire team.

She now has infinitely more wins on ovals than her father.

I think she'll win some races at Southern National if she goes there. She raced wheel to wheel with Lee Pulliam and Bradley McCaskill there last September. And those are two tough drivers to race against at Southern National. Or in Lee's case, anywhere.
