Wanna Rate The Race?

Good......primarily because Jr won!! :) Clean..........primarily because I think Richard had a heart to heart with our friend Johnny!! :) Fast........primarily because it's Atlanta!! :) And fun..........because it was a NASCAR race!!

A rating? Hmmmmmm.........................guess I'll go with a 6.5. I love green flag runs that incorporate green flag stops, but we had three green flag pit stops in a row!! The field sure got stretch out :( There were periods of side by side racing, but not enough to make among the best I've seen at Atlanta! :D

I'll go with 6.5 as well. Not quite as good as Atlanta races usually are, but not bad. A WHOLE lot better than last week's Vegas race.

I'm going with a 7. I thought it was a pretty fair race, lots of passing on the track.

I'm gonna see that 6.5 and raise ya to a 7.5! Those Dodges were sure tough today, great runs overall by the rookies and "wreck'em" Todd out early!
Jeff Gordon finished 10th despite being sick, GREG B finished 8th, Khane will be a force to be reconed with, and on and on.....

I'll give it a :D :D :D :D :D :D for the race.

I'll give it a           for Jr's recovery after last weeks disaster.

I gotta go with a pretty high rating too. How about an 8??
Great racin, a bit of rubbin and bumpin, lots of passin,
Green flag pit stops, And just to keep it interesting and allow NASCAR
to use their favorite "Lucky Arse Dog Pass" thing, They had a Yellow for that French guy "DeBris"!
LOL
All in all, great entertainment. Very surprising and nice to see Jr come up and show he really can drive a car today! LOL Just teasin, folks. Just teasin.

Happy that Jeff Gordon was able to hang on to 10th too.

I think it was a 6.5 or a 7. I will also second bowtie's remark about 10  for Jr's recovery from last week! Like TonyB said, it wasn't one of the best Atlanta races, but it certainly was better than last week's Vegas race! Congrats to JJ for his 4th place finish that moved him back into the top-10!!!!!

I give it about a 7. I could have went higher if Harvick hadn't had such a terrible day. :(

In spite of who won <_< , I will give it a 7. A few different leaders, a little passing, all in all pretty good.
c'mon, admit it, you're a closet Jr. fan  ^_^ :D

 Just wait till you two start the cheers at the GBFC tommorow and no more  :D tonight

I give the results a 1. I give the race a 4. I give the naps I took during it a 9.

That's a POSSUM for ya! B)

Next week the racing surface is just over 2 feet narrower than it's ever been before in the turns!! Gonna be interesting how that SAFER barrier affects the race!! Hope it's not a wreck fest! :(

I'll give it a 5. Mostly because I had it on at work and only caught bits and pieces. I got all excited when Jeff Gordon had a big lead early on, but the next thing I knew Tony was leading. Every time I heard another update Jeff was further and further back. But Jeff pulled it all together and ended up with a top 10 and a laps lead bonus. Not a bad finish considering he and Robbie Loomis were both battling the flu.

I'll give it a 7,pretty good overall.Good to see Dale Jr.'s team rebound in such strong fashion and climb back into the Top 5 of the point standings.
I don't understand what happens to Brian Vickers in these races,He usually qualifies very strong(outside pole today),but then proceeds to fall way back through the field by the race's end.I know that He's a rookie and communication might not be there between Him and His crewman, but Kasey Kahne and other rookies seem to be doing well from the get-go? ;)
The lady in black awaits next week, this should be good :D

If memory serves me correctly Brian struggled a little in the Busch series at first..........but then he took off like a raped ape!! :D Don't worry about that kid. He's good and he's on a good team...........he'll be just fine!! :D

7

I'm real interested to see this points battle, Dale Jr. vs Matt Kenseth, if all goes as it went today, they should go back and forth like their days in the Busch Series. Of course, I wouldve given it a 10 but you know.....

 I'll give it a BIG OLE #8.........now that's racin!
Happy as hell here in Big Tejas!
The ole Bud hauler should be heading this way, I'll be looking for that hauler come Tuesday heading up I20. The Red-Man and crew will be here in Tejas for testing on Tuesday!
Way to go Dale Jr...............!!!!

Well, I tuned in after the ACC Tournament was over. At that point it just seemed anticlimatic with little good racing going on.

maybe it's that they (as in sauter, riggs, vickers, gaughn) aint ready for cup? IMO it's still a little early but if they don't turn it around they are gonna lose sight of the play-off deal.

Thanks for the response,I believe Ur right,Brian should turn it around.
Afterall,a certain #24 driver didn't win in His first 41 races, but He turned out alright :D

Yeah, but Vickers doesnt remind me of that man whos name I prefer not to mention. Vickers came a little too early for his own good I say! Just like ol' Casey Atwood, who's probably living under a bridge now for all we know.

He'll do good on a good team, in the Busch Series.

I disagree,but We'll see ;)

Brian (IMHO) will fare much better in the whole scheme of things than Buckshot or many others!

Well, his finishes dont exactly show how he ran during the race. Daytona he was wrecked, Las Vegas he ran out of gas, and Atlanta he had a vibration, which was a loose wheel, and he had to pit under green to fix it.
