War in Missouri

Journalists being rounded up, fast food places being raided by armed SWAT teams, police opening fire on camera crews... WOW.
 
I think that you and I have a very different idea about the meaning of "War."
 
Again so much missing info. I have no idea if what is being reported is fact or fiction. Heard things like the town is 75% black yet the po-po has only 3 blacks out of 60 on the force. That racial tensions have been increasing steadily over the years.
The chief did say he would release the name of the cop who shot the kid a day or two ago but has since changed his mind since that cop has received death threats. Ok, if it's true he has received death threats his identity is known. What's to be gained by withholding his name now? Why is this cop still in town?

I do know that following a accidental shooting that occurred while I was in the service a guy was shot and killed. The person who pulled the trigger was transferred immediately, within hours..

It may not be a specific threat by name --- it may be more of "give us his name and he's dead". And, there may have been threats against the officer's family.

What's nice is most of get into it in the podium pretty heavy, but we leave it there. It's like a parallel universe
