For the past 4 months I've been working with a fellow who is active in local car clubs in bringing back the Vets Cruise. It's happening in just 3 weeks and while a lot has been done there still remains a lot to do. I'm in Bristol, home of the oldest 4th of July parade. I've got the RI State Police coming as the Honor Guard. the Revolutionary War fife and drums corps, a bunch of military vehicles including a WWII half track. 400+ cars. 100 or so bikes including a bunch of Patriot Riders.
I'm meeting with a 4 star, retired, at 1 today who has the pull to get the Army Guard and their Blackhawks and the Air Guard's C-130's to do a fly over.
