(If you notice some of the averages are a lot closer than last weeks!)
Here are these weeks’ results after Lowe’s Motor Speedway…

1. (4) #18 Bobby Labonte---AVG. 2
The #18 Interstate Batteries Chevy is no doubt the hottest team in the Winston Cup Series with finishes of 1, 2, 2, and 3!!!!

2. (11) #2 Rusty Wallace---AVG. 8.25
This one again has surprised me even though Rusty has snuck into the top 10 in points.

3. (3) #40 Sterling Marlin---AVG. 9.25
Sterling is still here, his last 4 finishes have been 7, 10, 13, and 7th!

3. (4) #24 Jeff Gordon---AVG.9.25
Jeff has tied with Bobby…last week and again this week, but only with Sterling…he seems as If he is ready for another championship again!

5. (2) #17 Matt Kenseth---AVG. 10
Well Matt again has held off Dale Jr., and even further improved his position against him.

6. (12) #48 Jimmie Johnson---AVG. 11.25
Jimmie really dominated Lowe’s speedway, he has really picked up since the slump he was getting ready to start…

7. (15) #15 Michael Waltrip---AVG. 12
Michael is now used to having good finishes when the race gets rained out…Daytona…Lowe’s…???

8. (16) #99 Jeff Burton---AVG. 12.5
Man I can’t say enough of how this team has really improved…their finishes changed…like that!!

9. (10) #97 Kurt Busch---AVG. 13
Kurt is coming back up towards the points lead If he keeps this up!

10. (1) #8 Dale Earnhardt Jr.---AVG. 13.25
He sure fell back, I bet they wished that Lowe’s didn’t even count after their mechanical problems!

11. (18) #25 Joe Nemechek---AVG. 14.75
Front Row Joe is currently 11th in points…after he had another productive finish!

12. (7) #9 Bill Elliott---AVG. 15.75
Awesome Bill had a bad day and lost 4 spots in the points standings, moving him back down to 23.

13. (9) #29 Kevin Harvick---AVG. 16
The 29 car stayed the same in the points but he lost 4 spots in my Hot & Cold Series this weekend!

14. (14) #22 Ward Burton---AVG. 16.75
When I saw where Ward finished I figured he would move up a few, but with the competition these days, It’s hard to do that!

15. (6) #6 Mark Martin---AVG. 17
Mark is here in a 3 way tie between Greg Biffle, and Terry Labonte as well.

15. (19) #16 Greg Biffle---AVG. 17
Greg is 22nd the points even though he missed a race earlier this year and still leading the rookie of the year points…he isn’t doing to bad out there!

15. (8) #5 Terry Labonte---AVG. 17
Terry may have fallen down in my standings but, he is still consistent and maybe has a chance at the top 5 in points, but he will need to win a race this year to get boosted up!

18. (13) #31 Robby Gordon---AVG. 17.25
Doing the double would be very hard to do, but Robby did It again, and none the less he finished 17th in the Cup race…now its time to take a nap!

19. (23) #77 Dave Blaney---AVG. 19
Like I posted about Dave in the last Hot & Cold the team did improve and had a good day again…

20. (24) #42 Jamie McMurray---AVG. 23
Jamie just hasn’t been as good as he was at the beginning of the year, but he seems to be coming back…

21. (26) #49 Ken Schrader---AVG. 23
The 49 driver, Ken Schrader’s last 4 finishes have been 10, 30, 24, and 28.

22. (NR) #7 Jimmy Spencer---AVG. 24.5
Jimmy moved on up in here after a top 5 at Lowe’s.

23. (17) #38 Elliott Sadler---AVG. 25.25
Man Elliott was on a hot streak but the last 2 races, he really has been off getting in accidents not his fault.

24. (29) #21 Ricky Rudd---AVG. 25.5
After spinning out into the grass at Lowe’s, he ruined a lot of drivers chances at winning, but he just has not done too well with the 21!

24. (28) #88 Dale Jarrett---AVG. 25.5
Like I have mentioned before Dale should be up in the top 10 in the points, but he is slowly, ok, very slowly making a recovery.

26. (20) #23 Kenny Wallace---AVG. 25.75
Kenny has squelched his chances at a top 10 finish in the standings at the end of the year, unless he wins the next 20 races! :p

27. (NR) #10 Johnny Benson---AVG. 26.5
He made the list! You really have to be on this list if you want to have any chance at a championship really. Johnny will still win at least 1 this year, still…

28. (21) #43 John Andretti---AVG. 26.75
Andretti tied with Todd Bodine after losing 7 positions in my Hot & Cold Series.

28. (30) #54 Todd Bodine---AVG. 26.75
Todd moved up 1 position…woo…he needs to do something different to the National Guard car!

30. (NR) #4 Mike Skinner---AVG. 27.5
Skinner made the list barely! It was between him and Jeff Green!

Drivers that didn't make the list (IN NO ORDER):
Tony Raines
Jeremy Mayfield
Jack Sprague
Kyle Petty
Casey Mears
M. Wallace/J. Keller/J. Nadeau (Phew, finally typed out all of their names!)
Ricky Craven
Ryan Newman
Jeff Green
Tony Stewart
Steve Park

Good job Ward, thats neat to see. :bounce: :bounce:

Never would have thought Rusty in the 2nd spot. Never would have guessed that big of a difference in the averages between first and second.

That's Awesome ward22, THanks for taking the time to do that!

I leave this Friday to go to Green Bay, on the way I am going to a wedding in Iowa, then a wedding in Green Bay...and then I will get to check out the Green Bay Packer stuff! But anyways I will be unable to post the Hot & Cold for the next two weeks. :)

You have fun and we will be waiting for the next Hot and Cold.
