Everone be safe, and good luck to your favorites, as long as they finish behind the 43. :)

Green green green! Looks like everyone made the first turn okay! :beerbang:

No- his radio quit so his crew had NASCAR "post" him by bringing him in.

"Jeff (Gordon) loses front end grip."

:bsflag:

Jeff didn't lose front end grip, he wrecked him. Retaliation. I call it as I see it.

This could get interesting. Caution is out, so fuel strategy goes out the window.
  1. Wildthing
  2. Smoke
  3. The Australian Turtle
  4. The Columbian Jumping Bean
Those are 4 very aggressive drivers. :growl: :growl: :growl:

HUGE WRECK!
Terrible crash with 8 to go; RED FLAG!

Looks like everyone got out of that wreck relatively OK, they were all very lucky.... a strong testament to NASCAR's safety improvements over that last few years...

as far as gilly, the COT jsut proved itself again. Hornish could have been going a hair slower, he'da tagged them barrels in the door instea dof the quarter panel. VERY lucky.

Michael McDowell should be pulled out of NASCAR for that.

His little grudge took 9 cars out of the race and hurt a driver.

I've never seen a driver want to leave a scene so badly. All we can do is hope he'll be okay.

I would like to see Mcdowell nominated for bonehead of the race but then again I haven't seen what Gilland might have pulled earlier.

I'm not gonna do the math (too much work), but KB could set out the next 4 races, drop out of the points lead, and guess who would be the points leader at the start of the race, no matter what? Yup, Kyle Busch.

One thing I do know is that both driver's have been called to the nascar hauler.
and I anticipate an entertaining tuesday, if nascar appoints any fines for their (as in mcdowell's) rough driving.

Love him or hate him - Wildthing can drive anything anywhere anytime.

I fully expect NASCAR will do the right thing and suspend McDowell indefinently.

They also need to drug test him, make sure he isn't smoking Dumberall behind the wheel.

OMG I did'nt see the wreck but suspend McDowell indefinently I doubt that will happen, hell all the **** tony and kurt pulled over the last few years and all they got is fines and probation.

Steve, you have to understand who is saying this in the first place. You know, Mr. Negative.
