We are off to Columbus

My 9 year old son is competing in a National Karate Tournament in Columbus this saturday. It is his first time fighting in a tournament. He has only competed in the Kata exercize before. He has really been training his butt off for this. We are making it a three day weekend and going to the Columbus Zoo on Friday(today) and Sunday around the tournament on saturday. Wish him luck! Even is he doesn't do very well, it will be a very good experience for him. His Shihan is competing for his 7th National Title in the heavyweight division at the same tournament, so I am really looking forward to seeing that too. This guy is very, very good. He won medals for the US Olympic team in Goodwill Games among other things.
