along with some strong winds. It tore up some tree limbs and got a few roofs (loose shingles), twisted up a breezeway at one of the elementary schools. Lots of sirens and such, but no one in the neighborhood was injured. Interrupted the power for about an hour & forty-five minutes. East Texas is in the path today, hope you don't wash away, TRL. Please let us know that you are okay!

We needed the rain, just didn't need the destruction. Second round due to hit this evening.

Send some our way. It's been threatning for two days and just won't do it. :bounce: :bounce:

We had a pretty good storm come through here last night. Lightening got the Sherriff's department knocking out the 911 system. We have had so much rain this summer, it's unreal.

We are about 7 inches below average on the rain gauge. We need more rain, just not the destruction. :(

Rained cats and dogs yesterday morning until about 11AM. Then the power went out for 2+ hours. Got it back, did the Big Dawg scores, then the bottom fell out again. Not a great amount of rain, but certainly welcome.

Looks like more coming this morning.

Well here is the forcast here in Tn... it stormed and rained almost all nite.. a lot of sever storms yesterday and last nite... said we might get more today.. we are way aboe average for rain fall so far... makes bad for dirt racing on Saturdays round here...

We haven't had rain for about a month and a half...maybe more.

They certainly were, 17fan. But that was yesterday. We'll just have to wait and see what today brings! :D
