NHRA Pro Stock icon Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins, a master of the internal combustion engine and a legend among the Chevrolet faithful, died March 29. He was 81.

Grumpy was one of a kind and did Huge things for the little guy racer and Chevrolet, he'll be missed.

Dayum, watching him race at Miami-Hollywood Speedway park got me into drag racing in 1969. Grumpy's Toy.
Got a pic of us somewhere around here in front of his car. RIP
